We partner with several different levels of trusted trade partners that deliver exceptional craftsmanship with unsurpassed value. From development to orchestrating dozens of trades, we take ownership of every aspect of the project to turn your vision into a reality. We have employed this turn key process in part and in full for clients in multiple locales all over the country.
Interior design development
– With an experienced architect and multiple interior designers on staff, we are experts in bringing the interior and exterior elements together. We start by developing an interior architecture plan based on your needs, which springboards multiple potential design concepts. Your customized plan will include specifications for all interior elevations and elements including: millwork, tile and stone, lighting, cabinetry, interior fixed finishes and furnishings. Whether bringing our recommended partners on board or working with your existing team, our approach is flexible and one of a kind.
Home Remodel
– From small to large scale remodels, we develop renovation plans for your home project, interior or exterior, including concept design and 3-Dvision in REVIT if desired. We create concepts, taking existing conditions into account, to be reviewed and approved by the client. The scope includes specifying finishes, budget planning, project management, light planning, fixed built-in piece planning, furnishings (purchased or custom designed), ceiling and wall design, art and accessories purchase and placement. We can provide the vision or manage the process through completion, to assist in keeping the project on budget and on time. This type of service can be used as one stop shopping or in parts. We are Client driven, so this us up to you.
Kitchen & Bath Design
– We have specialized in designing beautiful, high functioning kitchens for over 18 years. We can customize your new kitchen to seamlessly fit into your current architecture, or start with the kitchen and develop a phased approach to update the remainder of your home as needed. Designing smart millwork to work with unique space limitations, along with using cutting edge appliance technology, our expertise in kitchen design allows us to completely customize your space based on your cooking level and entertainment needs.
Single Room Design
– We can craft a plan for a single room remodel or a stand-alone furnishing design. We can do this in person or remotely. We are happy to implement the design or turn it over to you or your team to complete. We will offer two design concepts to choose from, provide a list of achievables, create a proposed timeline, and establish a realistic budget and pricing schedule containing specified materials and finishes. We can create the plan for you, or our team can manage the process through to completion. This type of service works nicely with basement re-models, children’s rooms, or to update a space neglected over the years.
Project management for renovation and/or construction
– We are often brought in to help manage projects and act as a client representative after we are hired for our interior design services. With a strong focus and commitment to Client management, our clients appreciate the ease of our turnkey process, and often choose to have us manage the process. We provide analysis and development of documents in AutoCAD planning, 3D rendering for space planning, kitchen and bath planning, lighting design, millwork design, cabinetry design, fireplace design, tile and stone design as well as many others interior and exterior design services. We also offer consultation or development of schedules, purchasing, documentation, budget planning and install management for construction from start through to finish.
Home Staging
– We offer a vision and a design plan based on the current trends in the real estate market. We will provide a condensed list of interior or exterior items which will help sell the property.
Window Coverings
– We provide a service of designing window treatemnts, from a custom room to an entire home This can include fixed items, automated products that fit within a smart home platform and/or hand drawn features. We will pair you with artisans and tradespeople who build and install the products with attention to detail and value in mind. We provide you with the list, specify the items, and order the necessary items. You may also use our team or one of our trusted partners to execute/implement the design on your own.
Paint/Wall Coverings
– We have been brought on to design and specify wallpaper and paint plans for existing spaces. We provide you with the list and you may use one of our trusted partners or execute the design on your own.
Art and Accessory
– We can take your space to the final level with the help of one of our custom stylists. They will work to complement the interior design aesthetic of your home, using current accessories and suggesting new on an as needed basis. We also work with a team of trusted art buyers and representatives of emerging artists. We can specify custom art to fill the space or connect you with one of our art gallery partners to find piece that properly fits the project’s need, palette and scale. We also have a trusted framing partner who frames and hangs our Client’s procured items.
Custom millwork, furniture, rug and metal design
– We are losing a great deal of our artisans to internet sites offering products made overseas. The quality and scale of these items is often unknown and while priced right, not a good value in the long run. Given our expertise in design and current DH products already being sold, we offer the ability to design something special and unique to your project. We will work with our exclusive trade partners, and design any number of custom designed upholstery and case goods, lighting pieces, or rugs. This process takes the middle man out, ultimately extending savings to you, while giving you a one of a kind product.
Second home Design
We have had the great opportunity to design many of our client’s second or third homes in Mexico, California, Michigan and Colorado. We are committed to helping our clients develop a new lifestyle design for their space which fits within the family’s aesthetic and also responds to the new location, architecture and lifestyle. We apply the same principals as in our design to build, designing personalized vacation homes that our clients can enjoy for years to come. Often, we work remotely, but can be on site as Client representatives to manage the process. We procure all necessary elements and deliver to our clients wherever they may be, making the process turn-key.
